Import Gamma generated SLC file in SARscape
Added by Julia Neelmeijer almost 10 years ago
If you ever want to import a GAMMA generated SLC file in SARscape this is one option to go:
SARscape > Import Data > Generic Binary Data Type: Complex integer 16 Data Units: Intensity Byte Order: MSBF Number of Lines: <azimuth lines> from .par file Number of Columns: <range samples> from .par file
A file containing 2 bands is created. To transform this into a single band file (common way of display):
SARscape > General Tools > Transform Raster Data Data Type: Complex 32 Data Units: Leave the Old Unit Byte Order: LSBF
There is one drawback:
One can view the file, but so far cannot use it for further processing since the special SARscape header file (*.sml) is still missing. So far nobody has taken the effort to create this (automatically by calling a script?) from the GAMMA header file.
