Sentinel-1 burst issue: SLC_coreg_overlap
Added by Kirsten Stephens about 6 years ago
Hello
I am processing some Sentinel-1 imagery, but the burst issue keeps popping up. Following the manual, I've been applying the programs to refine the co-registration and the azimuth offset (matching techniques and spectral diversity methods). However, for some interferograms this works and for others it doesn't (see attached images, cropped).
Image 1 - interferogram 1 without refinement in S1_coreg_overlap step
Image 2 - interferogram 1 with default refinement in S1_coreg_overlap step
Image 3 - interferogram 2 with default refinement in S1_coreg_overlap step
In the manual, under the spectral diversity method, it is suggested that there is an option to do a manual correction of the azimuth offset if the two iterations do not work. I was wondering if anyone has perhaps tried this out and knows the best processing order for this? I am not entirely sure how to go about it.
Many thanks,
Kirsten
